CSR R.O.A.R. is a virtual qualitative research service offered three times a year (fall, winter, and spring) by the Center for Survey Research. Designed to deliver fast, affordable, and high-quality insights, R.O.A.R. helps organizations move beyond numbers by adding real voices to their data. Through a unique shared-cost focus group model, client partners can capture compelling stories, uncover needs and solutions, conduct exploratory research, and assess reactions to refine messages and creative approaches – all without the time or expense of a full custom qualitative study.

How It Works

During two expertly moderated focus group sessions, each client partner contributes one or two 30-minute blocks to explore the experiences, opinions, or motivations of adult Pennsylvanians on their topic(s) of interest.

Content Boundaries

To maintain institutional alignment, R.O.A.R. does not include projects related to political campaigns, voter persuasion, or partisan advocacy research. CSR reserves the right to exclude content that does not align with Penn State’s institutional values of integrity, respect, responsibility, discovery, excellence, and community.

How do I join the next R.O.A.R. session?
