Each organization participating in the survey receives the following services:
- Assistance in defining research objectives or informational needs.
- Assistance in wording and sequencing of questions.
- The survey results of their questions, including cross-tabulations by standard demographic characteristics.
- A complete methodological report detailing both technical and quality control procedures.
- A dataset of your sponsored questions and demographics.
- Consultation on interpreting the results of the survey.
All of these services are included in the basic per question charge. Other services, or more extensive analysis of the data, are available at an additional charge.
Placement of a question in the Penn State Poll costs only $1,500 per question with incentive pricing available for sponsors with a large number of questions. Very often CSR researchers are able to reduce multiple data objectives to fewer questions than sponsors might anticipate. It is useful to consult with CSR staff before determining the number of questions to be asked.
